BUILDING AN IGLOO
Haven't you always wanted to build a real igloo? You only need a little know-how to erect an Inuit dwelling.
The most important material you need for an igloo is, of course, snow. You should make sure that the snow is not too powdery, but holds together well.
Building an igloo does not usually take half an hour. Depending on how many helpers you have, you should expect it to take around one and a half hours to build.
We show you how to build your own igloo, what tools you need and how to handle the snow as a building material.
